Walk 4

Four analogue accumulators in 10 HP, with a clock generator, four white noise sources and an auto reset system. At each trigger an accumulator's stored voltage steps by the sum of its value input, a trend offset, a random amount set by the volatility and the constrain feedback that holds it round 0 V.

• Staircases, arpeggios, subharmonics, random walks or coloured noise
• Trend, volatility and constrain are shared by all four, each with a knob and a CV input
• The internal clock runs from a three-minute period to 180 Hz, or from 22 Hz to 22 kHz in audio mode, tracks 1 V/octave and has its own output
• Each trigger input is normalled to its left-hand neighbour, the first to the clock
• Auto reset returns an accumulator to 0 V beyond 10 V, a reset input clears them all, and an add input offsets the outputs directly
• Bicolour LEDs show the add and output voltages
