Quad Function Generator Model 281t

Four function generators after the Buchla 281, part of the Buchla & Tiptop Audio 200t series, made under licence from Buchla. Each is an attack-decay envelope, and paired they become phase-shifted cycling oscillators.

Key features

• Per envelope: trigger input and button, cycle input and three-way mode switch (transient, sustained, cycling)
• Control voltage inputs for attack and decay, from 1 ms to 10 s
• An output, an end-of-cycle pulse and two lamps per envelope
• Paired in quadrature, A with B and C with D: cycling oscillators with two outputs, their phase set by a large knob
