A complex oscillator after the Buchla 259, part of the Buchla & Tiptop Audio 200t series, made under licence from Buchla: a modulation oscillator and a principal oscillator.

Key features

• Each oscillator has a large frequency knob scaled in hertz and notes, fine tuning, keyboard, control voltage and FM inputs and a gate output
• The modulation oscillator has three ranges and three waveshapes
• The principal oscillator's sine is folded by timbre and shaped by symmetry and order, and can be phase locked
• Pitch, amplitude and timbre modulation and phase lock switched from the modulation oscillator
• Modulation depth set by the modulation index
