Spectraphon

The Spectraphon is a dual spectral oscillator, designed with Tom Erbe of Soundhack: each side either analyses a sound patched to its input and resynthesises it (SAM, Spectral Amplitude Modulation) or plays spectra of its own (SAO, Spectral Array Oscillator).

Key features

• Odd and even harmonic outputs, a sine and a Sub/CV output on each side
• FREQ and FINE tune each side, PARTIALS sets how many are heard
• SLIDE and FOCUS reshape the spectrum, each under voltage control
• The FM bus cross-modulates the sides, FOLLOW makes B follow or sync to A
• SHIFT steps through the arrays
• The tuning beacon lights on consonant ratios
