Pivot 2

A voltage controlled variable signal router in 4 HP. At the turn of a single knob, a signal is routed through two external modules in series, in parallel or in reverse series, or any blend in between.

Key features

• Fully counter-clockwise, the input goes to the left send and the left return feeds the right send; fully clockwise, the order is reversed
• At noon, both send/return pairs receive the signal at half amplitude (−6 dB) and are mixed into the main output
• The pivot parameter takes a control voltage through its own input and bipolar modulation knob, over a 10 V range
• Also a complementary pair of linear VCAs, a voltage controlled crossfader or panner, and with feedback patching even a comparator
