Mimeophon

The Mimeophon is a stereo multi-zone color audio repeater, designed with Tom Erbe of Soundhack: a delay whose eight ZONEs span from flanging and chorus to Karplus-Strong, echo and long delays.

Key features

• RATE sets the speed of the repeats within the zone, with a CV attenuverter and the microRate input for doppler modulation, or follows a clock patched to TEMPO
• REPEATS sets how many, up to infinity
• COLOR shapes their tone and HALO blurs them into a diffuse reverberation
• HOLD keeps the repeats indefinitely, FLIP plays them reversed and SKEW spreads the two channels
• A lit button and a gate input for each of these three
• MIX blends the live and repeated signal
