An auto-dynamic filter in 6 HP: a state variable filter with simultaneous lowpass, bandpass and highpass outputs, whose core integrators saturate for a clean yet distinctive sound.

Key features

• The resonance rises smoothly into self-oscillation; with temperature compensation and calibrated tracking, the filter becomes a quadrature sine oscillator
• A combined decay generator and envelope follower modulates the filter frequency over an adjustable range
• Driven by external triggers or, in auto mode, by the input's own amplitude envelope
• The LED on the decay slider shows the envelope
• Kick drums come easily; at minimum resonance, the Linkwitz-Riley response splits the audio spectrum into low and high bands for dual-band processing
